Barry Moore

Congressman Barry Moore is a Republican member of the U.S. House, representing Alabama’s 2nd District.

Rep. Moore assumed office in January 3, 2021, and he is running in the Republican primary for U.S. House Alabama District 2 on March 5, 2024.

Rep. Moore authored and sponsored key legislation to include bringing the  “RedTails” F-35 Fighter Squadron to Montgomery. Moore’s military service further enriched his perspective. He served in the Alabama Army National Guard and completed a combat tour in Afghanistan, earning a Bronze Star for his exceptional leadership and dedication. This background informs his advocacy for strong national security policies and support for veterans’ services.

Born and raised in Enterprise, Alabama, Rep. Moore’s roots are deeply embedded in the state he now represents. Prior to entering politics, he successfully ran a small business, gaining firsthand insight into the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and job creators. This experience shaped his policy priorities, focusing on economic growth and job opportunities for Alabamians.
